US Elections 2012: Obama Meets With Clinton for Campaign Funds

Barack Obama and George Clooney
Recently Barack Obama’s presidential campaign took another turn with “A meeting with two presidents.” Former president Bill Clinton will join Obama for a meeting in New York city on June 4 with the winners of a new contest by Obama’s re-election campaign.
“I feel fortunate to have President Clinton on our team today – he’s smart, he’s tough, and he’s committed to strengthening this organization alongside you,” said Barack Obama on an e-mail addressed to his campaign supporters.
The campaign has raffled off dinner with Obama, often with “special guests” who have included first lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Biden. This month President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign raised $15 million through a fundraiser at George Clooney’s house.
Now Obama will attend another contest under way at Matthew Broderick and his wife Sarah Jessica Parker’s house on June 14. (AV)
