Business Roundtable expects to generate $ 240 million

With an investment of $ 230 mill, the Business Roundtable 2017 will be held today and tomorrow at the Convention Center of Guayaquil. 180 buyers from 34 countries will attend the meeting.

The European Union (41) and the United States (26) have the largest delegations, while Ukraine, Lithuania, Paraguay, Bangladesh, Honduras, Uruguay, and Belgium are participating for the first time in the sixth edition of the event.

It is the most important trade meeting of the year, organized by the Institute of Promotion of Exports and Investments (Pro Ecuador). Its executive director Silvana Vallejo said that the number of buyers increased by 11% compared to the 2016 edition.

Vallejo, who participated until last Friday at an International Economic Forum in Russia, pointed out that last year they surpassed the goal by projecting $ 220 million in business closure and at the end of the event $ 290.6 million were achieved.

For the current edition, the goal is $ 240 million (I).
