Henrique Capriles, the only opposition candidate in the last Venezuelan Elections, talked to the people in recognition of his defeat with 44.97% of votes, but despite that, he asked the Venezuelans not to feel defeated.

At the time of his speech, Capriles was serious, but not sad because, although he did not stated explicitly, he knew he had achieved something no one had in 13 years of Venezuelan democracy: overshadow the commander Hugo Chavez.

Capriles guaranteed that he will continue the struggle in which six million Venezuelans, who voted for him, are also involved. “Be proud that you marked a way, we are millions. I’ll be over here next to you, working until God wants me to,” he said. (MZ)
