Executive decree No. 1,005, signed on April 29 by the president of Ecuador Rafael Correa, appoints Jose Luis Icaza Romero Minister of Hydrocarbons, he will replace Carlos Pareja Yannuzzelli.

In the same decree, the resignation of Yannuzzelli Pareja, who was appointed in November 13, 2015, is accepted.

The document notes that the decree will take effect “from this date, without detriment to its publication in the Official Gazette.”
