CC Cancelled the Resolutions Taken in Cervecería Nacional´s Case

With nine votes the Constitutional Court annulled the verdict in favor of Cervecería Nacional.

It was decided that the whole process goes back to its initial state,that means to its original judges; however, they never talked about the possible millionaire bribery allegation which involve the brother of the Constitutional Court secretary, Arturo Jijón Larrea.

The position of the Secretary of the Court whose brother would have dealt the alleged bribe, is uncertain. Two members of the Court proposed to put him away from office.
