Celac meeting ends with progress on issues of cooperation
Yesterday ended the second meeting of the Working Group for International Cooperation in Costa Rica, which was attended by 33 countries of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC for its Spanish acronym).
Among the achievements are: the approval of the conceptual framework of the International Development Cooperation, which embodies the Latin American and Caribbean vision on South-South Cooperation, said Gabriela Rosero, head of the Technical Secretariat for International Cooperation.
Rosero said that the CELAC has set great goals, raising the foundation for the development of international cooperation, and working on mechanisms to guide regional actions. With this, Ecuador seeks to promote regional development by encouraging cooperation.
