CES determines that Cesar Montano will no longer be president of the Andean University

The Higher Education Council (CES for its Spanish acronym), during an extraordinary session chaired by its holder Rene Ramirez, decided Friday to disregard the appointment of Cesar Montano as president of the Andean University Simon Bolivar (UASB) and order a new election process.
The agency received Montano in an audience to listen to his arguments. Outside the building of the agency, about 300 students and professors, with flags and slogans, demanded the university autonomy
