Chancellor Patiño and representatives on diplomatic tour to Europe

Ricardo Patiño, Ecuador’s Foreign Minister with a delegation of diplomats, began a tour on Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and other countries in order to seek funding for the environmental initiative Yasuni- ITT.

This tour will last until October 15 and later would add Minsk, Baku and Astana as part of Eastern Europe, which expects to complete on October 21, reported news agency Andes.

As scheduled, meetings are planned with state authorities of the countries for conversations, meetings with academics and citizens on issues such as the political process in Ecuador, the opening lines of cooperation, among others.
