Chavez Goes to Cuba for Medical Exams

Last Sunday the Cuban president Raul Castro received his friend, Hugo Chavez, who traveled to La Habana. The Venezuelan leader would be going through some medical exams related to the cancerous tumor removed from him on June 20.

Salvador Navarrete, Chavez personal surgeon stated that the tumor removed is a bad one, and that the Venezuelan president could have two years to live. His recent visit to Cuba is to undergo several exams that will show if he is recovering or not.

Chavez has been submitted to four chemotherapies, three in Cuba and one in Caracas. The last one of these treatments concluded by the end of September. (AV)
