Chile will invest $ 28,000 million in public infrastructure
The president of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, yesterday presented an infrastructure plan for about $ 28,000 million for the next seven years which seeks to modernize the country and give new impetus to the decelerated economy.
Bachelet defined an area of investment in connectivity infrastructure, dams and ports for about 18,800 million, and a second field of investment through concessions, mainly roads plans, by 9.900 million.
This plan “takes care of the challenges we have in public infrastructure, both in the short and long term,” Bachelet said during a visit to the redevelopment of the Santiago International Airport.
“Chile has embarked on a path of transformation to end inequities in all its dimensions and to grow apace, but also with sustainability and inclusion,” Bachelet said.
