Chiriboga came to Quito to be Sworn in as the New Attorney General

Galo Chiriboga, will be sworn in today as the new Attorney General. Yesterday, after his arrival in Quito (Ecuador) he announced that next Monday he will be resigning to his current position as Ambassador of Ecuador in Spain.
This morning, the Council of Citizen Participation and Social Control (CPC) convened a special session to raise awareness of the five-page final report that gives the grades and names of the nine candidates who were participating to become the new attorney general. The list is led by Chiriboga with 86 points. He automatically become the new attorney general.
