Colombia and Ecuador sign agreement of telecommunications
Colombia and Ecuador subscribed this Thursday February 26 a telecommunications agreement that will allow both countries a coordinated management of radio spectrum for the provision services of radio and television in the border area, the Colombian government said in a statement.
The agreement will allow make an efficient use of spectrum without causing interference and was signed in Medellin between ministers of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in this country, Diego Molano, and the Telecommunications of Ecuador, Augusto Espín.
“Advances in technology and the inclusion of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) necessitated signing this agreement continues the existing conventions and provides new operating parameters of DTT, to operate free of interference in the border area “Molano said, quoted by the press.
