Argentine Federal Judge Daniel Rafecas rejected on thursday, February 28 the complaint of the deceased prosecutor Alberto Nisman against President Cristina Fernandez for alleged cover to the Iranians accused of an anti-Semitic attack in 1994.
“I resolve to dismiss the complaint by nonexistence of crime,” Rafecas said in his opinion on the indictment to the president. He stressed that “the minimum conditions are not given to initiate a criminal investigation.”
Nisman, who was Jewish, from 2004 was a special prosecutor in the case of the attack against the Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina (AMIA), which killed 85 people and left 300 injured.
