Colorful Horses Support SOLCA in Guayaquil
At 10 am, outside Guayaquil City Hall, mayor, Atty. Jaime Nebot Saadi inaugurated the project Colorful Horses in the Administration Square. Nebot gave a brief opening speech saying that the purpose of this artistic urban project is unify artists to promote the popular culture, “take the culture to the people.”
Nebot added that this is a pre-opening event for the celebration of Fiestas Julianas (July Civic Holidays). Finally the Mayor finished his speech by informing that the event is a way to show its appreciation and support to the help that SOLCA gives to the citizens of the Guayas province.
Several artist painted horses, among the most renowned artists are Jorge Swett and Paco Cuesta who used ideas from different works. Cuesta also made a horse dedicated to the famous singer Lady Gaga because of her support to immigrants and to the many fans she has in Guayaquil.
