Comptroller General´s office has not made a report about an agreement
The Comptroller General´s office has not released its analysis on the trade agreement signed in January 2008 between Fabricio Correa Delgado and the Ecuadorian subsidiary of the Brazilian company OAS Ltd.
On July 7, 2010, the Comptroller had requested Fabricio Correa to submit the documentation on that agreement. A month earlier, Correa had made public his relationship with OAS and asked for an investigation on the legality of the contract signed by Hidrolitoral S.A. with the Brazilian company for the completion of the multipurpose project Baba, for an amount of $ 130 million at the time.
The brother of the president signed the agreement with OAS representative Jorge Ribeiro Filho. The document stated that the signatories “shall endeavor to gestate and lead to the intervention of each other, depending on the significant contribution that each one can give to the the venture.”
