Do not be “manipulated” asked the president of Ecuador Rafael Correa and insisted that “all” the information within the so- called Panama Papers should be disseminated.
In his Twitter account, the ruler included a link to a news story of daily El Comercio, which reports on the “backstage” of the investigation which involved the participation of journalists from local media.
“As I said, almost a year ago they had the information and did not find anything against our government,” he wrote, adding that “it is childishness of the ‘good people of the private sector,’ were are innocent even if it´s proven otherwise, against ‘corrupt officials,’ they´re guilty even if they prove otherwise”.
