Correa bets his life for the presidential honor

President Rafael Correa spoke about the confrontation with the Armed Forces, the University of Guayaquil, the new works of the government until May 2017, the ITT Yasuni, among others, during his weekly address broadcast from the Galapagos Islands (Santa Cruz).
He warned that “insults to the president will not remain unpunished.” “I bet my life, you anti-democratic sectors and conspirators of the Armed Forces have to understand this,” he said.
The president also rejected the criticism video agaisnt the induction cookers governmental program, released by CREO presidential hopeful Guillermo Lasso.
While Correa explained the benefits of that plan, images of a chef preparing rice in one of those cookers were seen. “We have hired him to belie another person who has lost the script in his desperation for his plummeting in the presidential election,” he said.
