Correa requests the resignation to all government ministers

Through the twitter account of the Presidency, Rafael Correa announced changes on his ministerial cabinet. The news was published yesterday,  February 25th.

Correa said he will have a meeting with his cabinet, he also anticipated that the ministers must submit their resignations today.

“Before  February 23rd, regardless of the results (of the local elections), we thought  it was necessary to oxygenate the cabinet. Then it will be a cabinet crisis,” he said.

This announcement was made two days  after the political setback of Alianza Pais, accepted by  Rafael Correa himself.
