Correa seeks to include Ecuador in Multiparty Trade Agreement from the EU
The Spanish President, Mariano Rajoy, today reiterated the support of Spain to Ecuador negotiations to join the Multiparty Trade Agreement of the European Union with Colombia and Peru after meeting Ecuadorian President, Rafael Correa, who is in Spain since Tuesday.
Rajoy and Correa have also reviewed various aspects of bilateral relations between Spain and Ecuador, in particular the `perfect integration´ of Ecuadorian inmigrants and have discussed several regional issues, resported the Presidency.
Correa also asked Rajoy to deem the country for the removal of the tourist visa requirement to travel to the European Union as will happen soon with the citizens of Colombia and Peru.
The meeting between the heads of government of the two countries is made in the context of the visit to Spain of Rafael Correa, who is in Barcelona since last Tuesday.
