Cristina reconciled with Mujica

Posted On 20 Apr 2013

Argentina’s President Cristina Fernandez said Thursday night that she is “stubborn” and that she’s also old, referring to the controversial statements of her Uruguayan counterpart Jose Mujica, and said “everything is fine“, according to what she wrote in her Twitter account.

Cristina and Mujica met again in the Buenos Aires airport and greeted with a kiss. With their journey together and Cristina’s message, it seems that the discomfort created after the scandal words that Mujica said at a public meeting two weeks ago and were picked up by a microphone in which he referred to Fernandez as an old and stubborn hag, and her late husband, Nestor Kirchner, as a one-eyed, has come to an end.

Cristina Fernandez and Jose Mujica reconciled and kissed.

After the incident, Argentine Foreign Ministry issued a strong statement of rejection, while Mujica tried unsuccessfully to talk with Cristina.
