The Ministry of Defense and the Joint Command of the Armed Forces (Comaco) have fifteen days to submit the unification plan of the training schools of the Land Forces, Navy and Air Force, according to Agreement 067 signed by Fernando Cordero hours before leaving that ministry last Tuesday.
The document ordered to create a General Admission Commission on Recruitment Processes, consisting of the Minister, Deputy Defense Minister and the Comaco Chief, who must unify the recruitment system of officers and troops to ensure meritocracy.
The Armed Forces currently administer eight schools of military training. Enrollment is free.
