Cuba, Venezuela and Ecuador pointed in the U.S. for violating human rights
Ecuador as well as Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia and Nicaragua stud out in the annual report of human rights in the world, of the U.S. Department of State released today, relative to 2015 that gives a reference to the Congress at the moment of granting help or not to other countries.
The document stresses that in 2015 the global civil society repression has increased, and includes Ecuador, Bolivia and Nicaragua in the list of Governments which ¨uses heavy bureaucratic and administrative procedures as means to restrict the freedom of Association and repress civil society¨.
¨The President (Rafael) Correa and his administration remain engaged in legal and verbal attacks against the media and civil society¨, highlighted in the report of Ecuador. (I)
