Customs forms for travelers arriving to the US will not be filled
Travellers arriving at the crowded US airports shall not fill onerous customs forms from late 2016, announced on Friday the US government, which aims to reduce the waiting lines.
By presenting these measures to “improve arrival procedures at all airports” of the United States, the White House said that “the declaration forms for customs 6059b,” travelers at their entry were requested to fill will be deleted.
“The safety and security of the country have priority, but we can and we must ensure that the experience of travelers remains cozy, warm and efficient,” said the White House.
In addition to these new measures, the US will install more devices to automatically control the passports of some passengers or present information in their passports through a smartphone.
Last year, the millions of travelers who come to the United States spent about 222 billion dollars.
