The professor at the business school ESPAE, Sara Wong, analyzes the competitiveness of Ecuador in the world, and the impact of labor and tax restrictions on it. She also analyzes what is the best prescription for the country to address the crisis by falling oil prices and the dollar appreciation.
Wong says that this level of expenditure can not continue. “On the other hand, this leads to see in the past what has been done. In real exchange rates and what happens in exports and the trade balance there is a very interesting relationship.”
