Diaz-Granados: ” no semicolon has been modified in the draft law on public-private partnerships”
Posted On 12 Oct 2015
The executive director of the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil, Juan Carlos Diaz-Granados, regretted that the report for the first debate in the National Assembly of the draft Law on Incentives for Public-Private Partnerships and Foreign Investment “has not been absolutely modified since the bill came to the Assembly.”
Then, “we see that these dialogues do not exist, no semicolon has been modified.” According to Diaz-Granados, the bill is perfectible, for example, it can include the private sector in the Inter-Agency Committee, or it would be better if this committee does not exist, because it is aimed at creating more red tape. Another concern of employers are the limitations put to arbitration.
