Dissatisfied drivers are received today at Carondelet
Posted On 27 Jun 2016
Professional drivers will transfer their complaints today to Carondelet, where they will hold a meeting with President Rafael Correa and other government authorities.
A part of the sector obtained the appointment after threatening to distance themselves if their demands were not addressed.
The meeting will be at noon, the National Traffic Agency (ANT) reported to this daily.
This will happen ten days after “nearly a thousand drivers” of the National Cooperative Federation of Passenger Transportation (Fenacotip) claimed “the Government’s attention” to the “needs of the operators,” at a meeting in Portoviejo, Manabi.
This is included in a bulletin of the guild, which states that “if they do not achieve positive results” there will be a distancing from the government. (I).
