Drug consumption of a teenager in her classroom activates a plan of the Ministry of Education
Minister of Education Augusto Espinosa explained yesterday in this city a new program against drug consumption in schools. This action coincides with the dissemination this week on social networks of images of a teenager presumably inhaling drugs in her classroom.
That incident occurred in a public high school in Milagro. The images show the teacher roaming around in the classroom, while some students observe the teenager taking a powdery substance arranged in small bags to his nose.
This is one of the dozens of cases of drug consumption that can be seen daily in public places in Guayaquil, especially. This reality was also unveiled by this newspaper from Sunday to Tuesday last week.
The problem of drugs at school is not far to Zone 8 (Guayaquil, Duran and Samborondon), or the rest of the country, and that was recognized by Espinosa, who gave details of the initiative in the emblematic Vicente Rocafuerte High School along with Interior Minister Jose Serrano.
