Posted On 01 Jul 2016
With the assistance of 1,200 businessmen and entrepreneurs interested in e-commerce, the E-commerce Day Ecuador was held Thursday at the Marriott hotel, in Quito. 40 lecturers commented on experiences and trends in e-commerce.
According to Pedro Pueyrredon, president of the eCommerce Institute, one of the most important issues discussed was the trend of the “omnichanneling” and the “second revolution” that has meant the use of smartphones for electronic commerce. The “omnichanneling” has to do with companies that provide their customers a positive shopping experience from any channel, be it online, in person or telephone.
