The consumption of milk per Ecuadorian was 17.67 liters in average per year in 2015, the lowest record since 2010, according to the data provided by CIL, the Milk Industry Center (“Centro de la Industria Láctea” in Spanish).
This cypher is equal to a reduction of 2,45 liters of milk less, compared to the year 2014.
Christian Wahli, president of the Association of Food and Beverage Manufacturers (ANFAB), explains that the reduction in the last year was caused because the Ecuadorians are being most cautious when buying groceries. (I)
