Ecuador achieved 73 medals at the South American Games in Chile

The Ecuadorian delegation finished in sixth place in the South American Games in Chile, with 73 medals. Of these, 14 were gold, 22 silver and 37 bronze.

The discipline that won most medals was fight, with eleven. Of these, three were gold, one silver and seven bronze. Judo instead, reached ten medals: three gold, five silver and two bronze.

Swimming also won four silver medals. Boxing and Athletics contributed with three of this kind.

Wrestling won more bronze medals: 7. Weightlifting and judo won five each. Taekwondo, table tennis and canoeing won three, boxing, 2. Volleyball, triathlon, swimming, soccer and skiing also contributed with one bronze.
