Ecuador in the quarterfinals of the Copa America Centenary 2016

Sunday the Ecuadorean national soccer team beat Haiti Ecuador 4-0 and passed to the quarterfinals of the Copa America, held in the United States, advancing positions to that instance of the continental tournament for the first time since 1997 in Bolivia.

The goals were scored by striker Enner Valencia in the 11th minute, striker Jaime Ayovi at minute 20, defender Christian Noboa in the 57th minute and midfielder Antonio Valencia in the 77th minute.

“It was a dream and we have achieved it. We hope this is the occasion to achieve a title, now we have to concentrate in training and then think about the other opponent,” said Antonio Valencia on TV.
