Ecuador presents 93 projects that require investment of $ 37,000 million

Ecuador presented on Tuesday in Quito 94 projects in strategic sectors such as mining, electricity and oil. Strategic Sectors Minister Rafael Poveda, made a bid to domestic and foreign investors an ‘investment portfolio $ 37,000 million.”
The official indicated that investment opportunities in areas including telecommunications and bioenergy are part of the planning and requirements of Correa´s administration, whose term will run until 2017.
Ecuador demands capital for 25 new areas of mineral exploration, 13 hydroelectric and geothermal projects, 17 oil blocks the six basic industries such as petrochemicals, according to Poveda.
