Ecuador registers inflation of 0.05% in May the INEC says

Ecuador recorded an inflation of 0.05% in May, according to the latest report from the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC). The figure is slightly higher than that recorded in the same month last year: 0.03%.
The accumulated inflation in the fifth month of the year, that is, from January to May, reached 0.91%; While the annual, from May 2016 to May 2017, reached 1.10%.
Santo Domingo and Quito are the cities that record the highest inflation rate with 0.48% and 0.24% respectively. While the lowest inflation was recorded in Manta: -0.70% and Esmeraldas: -0.18% (I).
