Ecuadorian clubs in the first round of the Copa Sudamericana

The Ecuadorian teams Emelec, Liga de Loja, Liga de Quito and Universidad Catolica will face Leon de Huanuco of Peru, Colombia’s Independiente Santa Fe, the Venezuelan Zamora and Departamento La Guaira respectively.
They are part of the north zone of the fourteenth edition of the South American Cup to be held in Asuncion, Paraguay.
The champion of the 2015 edition will have the automatic right to participate in the Copa Libertadores de America 2016. It will also have the right to dispute the Recopa Sudamericana and the Suruga Bank Cup of Japan.
