Ecuadorian government will enter into dialogues with groups regarded as “of good faith”
“National Dialogue for equity and justice” is the space convened yesterday by the National Secretariat of Planning and Development (SENPLADES), whose objective will be to discuss the “type of society” sought by the Ecuadorians, but also the Inheritance and Capital Gains bills.
Pablo Muñoz, head of the SENPLADES, announced it at a press conference where he said that President Rafael Correa himself requested that these meetings last three months at least. The first assessment is expected to be carried out on September 15.
Indigenous, workers, industrialists, businessmen and bankers sectors are the ones that will dialogue with the government. Dates and venues are yet to be defined for the meeting.
