Ecuadorian mango exporters seek to open up Asian market
Ecuadorian mango exporters focuses on achieving and refining phytosanitary control agreements with Japan and Korea; and get ready to make shipments to China, a country that authorized the entry of the national fruit two weeks ago.
With the other two Asian markets, says the president of the Mango Ecuador Foundation, Sergio Cedeno, talks have been honed and the response is expected to sign protocols and give the green light to 59 producers that make up the foundation.
But despite the Asian market would not be the highest export figure due to the distance issue, they wish to gain new spaces. “Mango is a sensitive fruit, ships must be fast and can not have delays, can not make stop overs so that these products arrive in perfect conditions,” says the entrepreneur.
