Statistical Terms shelter a precarious labor situation

Gloria Mazo, 50, and Jessica Ascencio, 27, do not have a steady job since last year. Since then they are considered unemployed, but in the survey that measured unemployment in the country in the last quarter of 2015, they would be seen otherwise. Muzo would be part of the inadequate employment segment by working in temporary jobs like cleaning houses, in which she has earned less than the basic wage ($ 366). Ascencio, who stays at home as a housewife and is not looking for a job, would swell the rancks of the economically inactive population, as defined by the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC).
