Ecuadorian Mass Transit Workers Strike Schedule Tomorrow was Suspended

Ministers Homero Arellano, Boris Solis, Jose Serrano and Maria de los Angeles Duarte met behind closed doors in the Ministry of Litoral, from 17:00 today, the leaders of the National Mass Transit Federation of Ecuador (Fenacotip) signed an agreement that contains 12 items.
These include improving road safety and control informal workers. It also discussed the removal of transit judges that work “in favor of informal workers.”
In the meeting they agreed to suspend the strike planned for tomorrow. They will meet again on October 4 to discuss whether it met the agreed points.
