Education Minister warns to punish students who participate in union march
A day before the march that several union groups have announced for September 17, the Minister of Education Augusto Espinoza warned with sanctions those students who participate in that concentration.
Through a press conference, he said that during school hours, education authorities and the Ministry of Interior will attend the safety of students, but noted that outside that schedule is the responsibility of parents.
“There are due penalties in the sphere for students, who for example, leave school during school hours or outside school hours are with uniform in the streets, closing routes, into something that is not educational but rather criminal,” he said .
The Minister also recalled that some actions can be judged as crimes, typified in the Integral Penal Code .
