Elected officials are trained on the Cootad
With the aim of empowering the elected authorities, both political organizations, such as the National Electoral Council (CNE) and the Council of citizen participation (CPC) carry out training workshops on the content of the organic code of Territorial Organization, Autonomy and Decentralization (Cootad).
Thus, for example, Sociedad Patriotica (SP), analyzed the responsibility that the authorities have in administration and supervision; Avanza, were trained on select staff to properly exercise their functions; the Movimiento Pupular Democrático (MPD) analyzed the effects of the draft of law of Territorial Planning and Management of the Soil; Pachakutik, trained their members on political management, control of resources and personnel management and leaders of SUMA made trips to other countries to meet and compare public policies that can be implemented in the country.
The CNE and the CPC performed, from the 24th of April, days of training on democracy, inclusion, gender, interculturality and citizen participation, social control, accountability and transparency in public management.
