Elections timetable was discussed with political organizations

Representatives of 50 political organizations of Guayas, Los Rios, Santa Elena and Galapagos, recognized by the National Electoral Council (CNE), met on Tuesday at the Guayas delegation to learn about the Elections timetable for 2017.

The document was exposed by the head of the CNE, Juan Pablo Pozo, who was open to questions and comments from delegates. The most frequent were regarding the formation of the polling stations and scrutiny of the minutes after the removal of the intermediate boards.

As for the formation of the polling stations, he pointed out that their members will be appointed through a public lottery, which will also be audited.

Roberto Ronquillo, head of the delegation of Guayas of the CNE said that 9 applications of movements seeking to be recognized by the CNE are still under review.
