Electric cookers models will be presented today
Today will be presented the 32 models of electric induction cookers that will be manufactured by local or foreign industries in conjuction with the Government plan to eliminate the gas subsidy.
Alexis Valencia, Undersecretary of Industrial Development from the Ministry of Industry and Productivity (MIPRO for its Spanish acronym), indicated that the prototypes will be delivered in recognized laboratories by the Ecuadorian Accreditation Organization (OAE for its Spanish acronym) anywhere in the world. He added that some companies will deliver their models in China, Spain, Germany, and Colombia.
Ten national companies and three foreign companies registered to make the stoves on May 9.
On 12 June, the Mipro will publish the validated prototype cookers, and in June 30 the names of the companies that participate in the plan will be submitted.
