Enrollees in the program of electric kitchens increase to Up to 36,000

The Ministry of Electricity said that until the weekend, the number of registered users for the replacement program from gas cookers to electric cookers reached 36,000.

State authorities said that the gradual increase is due to a better dissemination of the government project.

This week, new models of induction cookers will be presented by the selected companies.

DME is preparing new artifacts and strengthening the existing models. Their representatives visited German companies two weeks ago to talk with potential suppliers.

Gabriel Garcés, DME manager, said that during that visit he had a meeting with the Minister of Industry and Productivity, Ramiro Gonzalez. Both had conversations with European businessmen to find better quality inputs.
