European Union Wins Nobel Peace Prize

This Friday, the Norwegian Commission, the one that gives the more important and renowned award of Peace in the world informed that the prize will be given to the European Union for its six decades of contribution to “the advancement of peace and reconciliation, democracy and human rights in Europe.”
According to the information given by different world offices, the Nobel Peace Prize gives merit to the special effort of the Union to keep the peace and democracy in that continent, in the middle of a serious crisis that the block is facing since its creation in 1950. The European Union is made with over 500 million inhabitants that belong to 27 nations. AV
