Examinations of assets of 15 assemblymen are ready
Posted On 10 Nov 2015
Audits carried out by the Comptroller to the assets of the assembly members have the results of about 10% of cases. The body investigates the assets of 137 legislators after a dignitary, of the AP party, allegedly committed bribery in a work contract.
The control action responds to a request from the Council on Legislative Administration (CAL) last May.
The Comptroller informed this newspaper that “the final reports were drawn up,” on capital affidavits of 15 assembly members. That is, a 10%.
The body also recalls that special examinations (audits) comprise the period between May 14, 2013 and May 15, 2015.
