Exhibition of Guayaquil artist Federico Gozenbach is comprised of twenty paintings worked with oil and painted with a spatula, representing the Las Peñas neighborhood of the sixties, a time of the artist’s childhood.
“I am a native of Las Peñas, I believed and lived there, I know it like the back of my hand although it has changed in recent years. For this exhibition I wanted to go back in time, to my memory, to my childhood and rescue the old neighborhood, the song of the river, the safety and the joy I experienced living there,” he said.
