Businessmen may spend fifteen days in order to obtain the required certificates to sell their products abroad or to ensure that their items are 100% Ecuadorian or to certify that they were produced with high quality standards, according to the Ministry of Industry and Productivity (Mipro).
To reduce some of the export process and to make it faster, starting tomorrow there will come into effect the issuance of certificates of origin on the Internet. The process should be done every time of an export regardless of the quantity or price of the product. According to the organizers, the emission of these documents will take less than 15 minutes.
The Industry Ministry expects to emit 5,000 certificates in the web each month. There are five steps in total that the Ministry of Industries and other institutions of the Council of Foreign Commerce (Comex) will change in the coming months to rush exporting process.
