Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook CEO, will enter the field of long distance messaging.

Zuckerberg said young people consider e-mail too slow and formal. Facebook Mail would not group messages of the same topic. According to Zuckerberg, the interface does not use message grouping, or SMS, or instant messaging. The record of a conversation will be in a single keystroke.

“The next generation of messaging is more informal, personal, simple, short and minimalist.”
“No one should close their Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail accounts,” stressed the founder of the popular social network now.
There will be an official Facebook application for service messages. Each user will receive an email, username@facebook.com.

“The idea is that everything becomes a simple conversation,” added Zuckerberg.
