Father of Neymar received 10 million euros from the FC Barcelona

Through a press conference held in the city of Santos, the father of the Brazilian player Neymar, Neymar da Silva, admitted this tuesday to have received 10 million euros ($ 13’690 .000) from the FC Barcelona in 2011.

At the same time he clarified that this was not a pre-contract, which is not allowed by FIFA.

Da Silva said “Neymar only would leave from Santos to play in Barcelona. If I say I made a pre-contract in 2011, they would say he was already negotiated. My job was to shield and enhance the benefits. ”
