Federer Eliminated from U.S. Open

Tomas Berdych vs Roger Federer

The world number one tennis player, Roger Federer was eliminated yesterday from the U.S. Open after being defeated by Czech Tomas Berdych 7-6 (7/1), 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

The Swiss, who despite his defeat said this season at the ATP tour, has been one of the best of his career.

With this victory Berdych, sixth in the world, achieved rank last Grand Slam semifinal of the year.
